Sledding at Mountain Dell

Saturday I went sledding with my Dad, Miles, Andersons, and Brenda and Trevor. It took a long time to get to Mountain Dell, so we ate lunch on the way and watched "Horton hears a who", that we got for Christmas. When we finally got there I got out and there was this little tiny mountain and I went down it on my sled, and it was okay fun. Then we went to a really really really big mountain. I was able to climb to the top by myself, I even went faster than my dad and Miles. The first time I went down I said, "Weeeeeeeeeee!" and it was a long ride. I met a boy named James when I was climbing up the hill, almost to the top. He said, "Hello, what is your name?" I said, "My name is Tyson. I'm having fun sledding! What is your name?" We went down the mountain and I didn't see him again. After sledding all day Brenda came and told my dad that her car was stuck. We helped her get her car unstuck, then we went back to sledding! My dad and I and Miles went down together. Then he tried to get us boys to flip over. Miles flipped over the second time he tried. I stayed warm because I was wearing my snow pants, jacket, boots, gloves, a Holman Orthodontics hat, and some cool blue goggles my dad bought for me. I love going sledding. On Saturday I'm going snowmobiling!

Christmas activities

A few days ago we decorated the Christmas tree. One of my favorite ornaments is a tree with a picture in the middle of me! My other favorites are ones that play Christmas music. We have some Christmas window stickers. We have two gingerbread men. Me and my brother, Miles, we like to make the gingerbread men talk and go inside the candy house. We have a sticker candy house too. I'm going to tell a joke. What did the gingerbread house say to the gingerbread men? Here is what he said. Why do you have a chimney and I don't? How come? Okay, no reason.

At my school we had a Christmas program for all the parents. We did the poem "I took a lick of my peppermint stick" and many Christmas songs. I liked it when we sang to our principle, Mrs. Anderson. Some kids wore green bow ties and some wore red. Our teacher had made them out of paper and glitter. I like singing because it's fun. In these pictures I'm the one in the blue shirt.

Favorite games

In September my Mom made us marshmallow shooters. We took them to the cabin and shot mini-marshmallows all over the place. We like it when we play them like trumpets, it makes really loud sounds!

My favorite games are Monopoly and Dino Wars. I like them because I get to play with my mommy. I love playing them so much that I play almost every day.
I usually win on all the games, but my mom usually wins chess. That's another game that I like too. I'm excited to get the big Star Wars Monopoly for Christmas. I'm excited to play it. I learn subtraction and you use the money to subtract and get money from the bank. Monopolies are when someone buys all of the same thing, then when someone lands on it, you get more money, double!
Dino War. I like comparing numbers and seeing which one is higher. Sometimes when I can't get my mom or brother to play with me, I play by myself. I usually win.
I like soccer too. My team usually wins, sometimes. I like being goalie, because I'm good. Only a couple of times I've missed the ball. I like playing with my team, the green lightning bolts.

When we play sticker powers we pretend that they can shoot and do other stuff. Miles, Kayla, and I put stickers on our arms and run around and push on them like buttons. We think it's fun.
I like playing at my friends houses. I like it when we invite others over too. It's really fun. I like it when we play games when I go to my friends houses.

Christmas thoughts

I do not believe in Santa. I do not one bit. It is your parents. I believe in Jesus. I feel it in my body. It is a special feeling. It feels like the spirit is touching you. This is valuable because Jesus is more powerful that Santa Clause. Jesus can do anything; he can heal people, and he loves kids, like me. And he is real. I love Jesus. I haven't seen him, but I know him through prayers.
